🏦 Bank account comparator
Compare savings, checking and digital accounts by what really matters: maintenance costs, fees, opening requirements, digital channels and deposit insurance coverage.
We’re preparing the comparator for Ecuador. Planned official source: the Superintendency of Banks and the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy (SEPS).
Results are for reference only and are not actual figures. Values depend on the country, the financial institution, taxes and current laws, and must be validated with an authorized financial institution. Banco.guru is an educational guide to what can be achieved; it does not offer products or personalized financial advice.
What will we compare?
When the comparator is ready, you’ll be able to filter by country and see, side by side, the criteria that most affect cost and value:
- Maintenance costs and fees for transactions, withdrawals and transfers
- Minimum opening amount and minimum balance
- Interest rate paid (if any) and how it’s calculated
- Digital banking: app, instant transfers, alerts and security
- ATM and branch network, and the cost of using other networks
- Deposit insurance coverage and regulatory oversight
How we build our comparators
- Official sources first: information published by regulators and by the institutions themselves.
- Visible verification date on every data point, so you know how up to date it is.
- No made-up data: if a data point isn’t verified, we don’t show it.
- Education, not sales: banco.guru doesn’t sell financial products; the goal is to help you compare with good judgment.
