Frequently asked questions

Common questions

What is the Banco.guru directory?
An educational list of authorized financial institutions, built only from official registries. It helps you check that an institution exists and is supervised before you hand over your money or your data.
Which countries does it include?
We're starting with Ecuador, using the registries of the Superintendency of Banks and the SEPS. Other Latin American countries will be added with their official regulators.
Does Banco.guru recommend any institution?
No. We're an educational site, not a bank, and we don't give financial advice. To decide, talk to your bank, broker or a financial advisor you trust.
